Hi everyone I know it's been awhile.
A fellow author was in need of quick promotion of her book so I decided to help out.
Now this authors books funny, gritty and extremely sexxxxxy.
I would like to introduce you to E.J. Shortall.

E.J. Shortall is a homebred resident of London, England.
During her youth, she enjoyed getting lost in the worlds of fictional characters and writing their tales. Sadly, as she grew up and had to adult, life got in the way and making up stories was forgotten. Following a moment of inspiration in 2013, a new fire for literature was reignited. Deciding to put pen to paper to jot down the few words she had, not expecting anything to come from them, she quickly got caught up in her characters and the words started to flow. Those initial few words soon turned into her first full-length novel. With the encouragement of friends and family, Silver Lining was first published in February 2014. Now, several books later, she feels it is safe to say she loves ‘this writing business’ and getting lost in narrating fictional worlds has become her passion.
She writes captivating contemporary romantic fiction that will draw you in and leave you wanting more.

Looking for a fairy.

                   

You guy's should've known that I was going to do a blog about this weekend. I'm not ready for tomorrow. The Tragically Hip’s concert is on Saturday.  (Yeah I refuse to say it's last.) I’m holding out for a miracle. I want Gord to walk out on that stage and give us one of his trademark smirks and say “Hey, the doctors have cleared me to do more shows. What do you guy’s think about that?” But this is me being greedy.

See I wasn’t lucky enough to get tickets to any of the concerts. I wasn’t even lucky enough to win tickets. I tried both believe me. I refuse to give into the scalpers. If there is a good fairy out there willing to drop two tickets in my lap I won’t protest. I will however watch the concert with a group of friends who are coming up to see another band playing at the CNE on Sunday.
I am not sure what it is about The Tragically Hip that draws us to them. Maybe in the end it’s because they are just a very humble band.
This is going to be one of those moments we will remember where we were and who we were with.  If you have never heard a Tragically Hip song give them a try.
I will only Saturday listen to all the Tragically Hip songs I have on Spotify and remember each time I saw them.

Cover Reveal!

I know I've been absent in my blogging and I apologize. I mean I really try not to blow up my kitchen.  I promise you I'll do my best to get back to destroying my kitchen soon.
For my first blog back I decided to go easy on everyone (my kitchen) and  ask a friend for a bit of help. She has a new book coming out soon. She is an amazing author, it's the one and only Author Diana Rose Duffy!

Diane Rose Duffy is a California native who has a passion for books, a whopping coffee addiction and a perpetual craving for chocolate. After recently retiring from a lengthy accounting career in Silicon Valley, Diane presently enjoys the peaceful serenity of daily life in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California. This book will have you laughing out loud one moment and reaching for the tissue box soon after. It is an emotional read which will grab your heart from the first page and not release it until the final page. 

NOTE: Some readers may hesitate to read this book because the synopsis indicates it is about spousal abuse so they assume the book is a depressing read. That is absolutely not the case with Take a Piece of My Heart. This book is focused more on the journey Kara takes after she walks away from her abusive relationship. She married at a young age so she has only been with one man and is naive to the dating scene. The book is actually quite humorous for the most part but does have some moments when tissues will be required.
